Hello! I'm Sam, by nature I’m a storyteller with a camera on a mission. I’m also a seasoned photographer with a career spanning over two decades from the vibrant nightlife of San Francisco with my early venture, Nitevibe, to the dynamic scenes of corporate events, hospitality venues, and exquisite interiors now with Sam K Studio.

Let’s get personal! My story began in 2001 with Nitevibe, uniting people with SF's DJ culture. As its architect, I transformed it into the definitive source for nightlife, assembling a team of talented nightlife correspondents and photographers. Together, we seized the city's vibrancy, compiling SF's most comprehensive event photo archive. The success of Nitevibe and its offspring, the Top10  DJ Dreamteam, an annual marquee event series, fostered a vast community ahead of the social media curve in event marketing.

My quest to uncover and share compelling stories extended beyond nightlife. Filming a documentary during Egypt's uprising and authoring travel guides on Europe and San Francisco has further enriched my viewpoint, infusing my photography work with invaluable depth and perspective.

Now, at Sam K Studio, my zeal for photography and storytelling have converged into an expanding business that delivers bespoke media-marketing services across the corporate, hospitality, and interior photography sectors. My worldly ventures and myriad encounters have informed every project, from illuminating the spirited atmosphere of corporate gatherings to capturing the cozy allure of boutique cocktail lounges.
